RACHEL MANTIÑÁN
Diversity & Inclusion Officer
A native of Detroit, Rachel was born to Spanish parents and grew up in a racially, ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse landscape. Diversity is second nature to her and is the foundation for her cultural inquisitiveness and deep passion for social justice and equity. Rachel merges her passions together professionally by dedicating her efforts to the advancement of Diversity and Inclusion in International Education.
Her passions are reflected personally through her years of living abroad in the inclusive city that is Barcelona, home to a community that instinctively defends and safeguards human rights. Rachel loves community organizing, lindy hop dancing, hiking, photography, gastronomy and languages. She speaks English, Spanish, Catalan and is currently studying Gallego.
