Program Types
A successful study abroad program requires an excellent academic foundation that can be difficult to assemble or supervise from home campuses in the US. Academic Solutions has a long history of coordinating and providing academic resources and services for study abroad programs. We can act as a liaison between home institutions, universities abroad, faculty and students.
Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion has prompted us to create exciting new thematic models designed with our partners and theirs students in mind. See some examples of our Thematic Inclusive Programming here.

SUMMER
Island programs
Students are a homogeneous group (usually from one university). Employs either home campus faculty, local faculty or a combination of the two. This type of program gives control over subject, content and academic calendar.
Faculty led
US home campus faculty accompany students abroad. Faculty teach one or more of the program courses with the option to include tuition by local adjunct factuly. Great if you're looking to create a program around a specific academic subject.
direct entry
Students are entered directly into partner institutions abroad. All classes are taken at a local university, taught by the university's faculty. The most immersive of our programs, your students will really get a glimpse of local student life.
Internships
We pair students with competitive internship placements. A perfect foray into international work experience.
Hybrid
Your students take some faculty-led courses, some at a local university. Great for giving your students the best of both worlds.
DESIGN YOUR OWN
